What does a consultation look like?

If you are reaching out for therapy for the first time, or reconnecting, it may be a daunting task. Often times, just thinking about making a phone call or sending an email may feel like you are already committing to something.

Many people have also had therapy in the past to various degrees of success, and are not sure if counseling can be a solution presently.

The consultation session is your opportunity to let yourself off the hook for some of these daunting feelings. My consultation session gives you the chance to share part of your story, experience my therapy style, and if you don’t find something helpful, receive referrals and resources that might be helpful.

It is also completely free, with no intentions of starting something that will not work. The process of healing does not always have to be difficult and insurmountable, and using the consultation session as a standalone step maybe helpful in itself.

Feel free to email or call me with any questions or thoughts about consultation.
